Connecting to the Compliance Wizard
The Compliance Wizard is NVES's guided decision-tree tool that walks you through regulatory requirements for your project. Here's how to get started.
Launching the Wizard
There are two ways to start the wizard:
- From the dashboard, click the "Start Wizard" action card
- From within a project, click "Run Compliance Check"
How It Works
The wizard presents a series of questions about your project—site type, materials present, proximity to water sources, and more. Based on your answers, it navigates a decision tree to determine which regulations apply.
Saving Progress
Your progress is automatically saved. If you need to step away, you can resume the wizard exactly where you left off from the dashboard by clicking "Resume" on your project card.
Results
At the end of the wizard, you'll receive a compliance summary outlining applicable regulations, required actions, and recommended next steps. This can be exported as a PDF for your records.
