Setting Up Your First Project
Projects are the foundation of NVES. Each project represents a specific site or environmental assessment you're managing. Here's how to create one.
Starting a New Project
From your dashboard, click the "New Project" button. This opens the project creation form where you'll enter essential details.
Required Information
- Project Name — A descriptive name for easy identification
- Site Address — The physical location of the site
- GPS Coordinates — Latitude and longitude for map placement (click the map to auto-fill)
- Project Type — Select from residential, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use
- Start Date — When work begins at the site
Optional Details
You can also add a project description, assign team members, and upload initial documents. These can be added later if you prefer to get started quickly.
After Creation
Once created, your project appears on the dashboard map and in your project list. You can then run the Compliance Wizard to determine regulatory requirements, add lab results, and upload documents.
